Mold Book Name: Banana bunch
Notes: The Mold Book lists A-312A as “Banana” and A-312B as “Banana Bunch.” However, no single banana has been found in the Miniatures line, and the number A-312A was used on order forms for the bunch of bananas. The Bananas were originally glued to the hand of A-312 Mama Chimpanzee, but were also sold as a separate piece in 1979-80.

Notes: This forms a set with A-981 Sparrow, A-982 Oriole, A-983 Lark, A-984 Finch, and A-985 Bluejay. Different numbers and combinations of these birds were also attached to the Birdbath at the factory. (See Birdbath Set).

Notes:
This piece was originally issued in 1959 in the Little Horribles line as D-392, The Cave. The Little Horribles cave was much more detailed, with a more jagged opening. The mold was revised considerably for the Miniatures line; see comparison photos.
The brown and green colorways were paired with Cavemen A-070, A-071, and A-072. The white Ice Cave was an accessory for Eskimo Tots A-943, A-944, and A-945.

Notes: This piece has been misidentified as A-466A. It forms a set with A-445 Small Rooster, feathered feet, and A-446 Small Hen, feathered Feet. It was also used in A-446 Nest with Colored Eggs.

Notes: The Pedestal was not shown on any known order form. It appears on the 1955 circus flier as “Tub.” Since San Dimas examples exist, it may have been reissued in 1969 with the circus dogs, A-268 and A-270, or the existing pieces may not have been released.
Photos show variation to the hand-painted gold trim.

Notes: See also A-446, Nest with colored eggs. The Nest originally formed a set with A-058 Mama Crow and A-059 Baby Crow. The Nest was later sold with an attached Woodpecker Baby (A-223) and Parrot Baby (A-492). It was also sold in a number of boxed sets, along with tweetie birds, ducks, chickens, and rabbits.
A-446, Nest with Colored Eggs

Notes: This piece is not in the Mold Book as such. It is a combination of A-393 Nest and A-446A Chicken Egg. Many egg color combinations are possible and I do not believe one is significantly more common than others; the photo shows all blue, all brown, and multicolored egg variations.
