Notes: This is an extremely rare mold. Two mold versions exist, one with a blunt tail, the other with a rounded tail. The blunt tail version shown here is missing the tongue.
The mold was originally designed as a portrait of the mascot of the University of California, Irvine. The Anteater was chosen as mascot in Fall 1965.

Notes: The original mold had no joey. It was revised in 1979, with an added apron and small joey facing forward. At some subsequent time in the 1980s, the mold was revised again. This version has a much more prominent joey, with an ear sticking out to the side. The original 1956 version is the tallest of the three, at 2 1/8”.
