A total of 624 pieces in the 1982 Fantasia line were made (not 624 of each piece) and released in November 1982, with 312 sold at Disneyland and 312 at Disney World in the Disneyana shops. There were 24 each of the pink, blue, and black Pegasus babies, with a retail price of $7.50 each. There has been speculation that a second batch of Fantasia pieces was made the next year, but this is unlikely.
